Pigs at Ballykilcavan

We keep a small herd of rare-breed pigs at Ballykilcavan, which produce the most delicious pork, bacon and sausages.

The pigs are free range, and have 3 hectares of orchard and woodland to roam. Our current breeding pigs are two registered pedigree Tamworths (called Zeus and Hera) and Hera usually has two litters a year of between six and eight piglets.

We usually have breeding stock, and whole or half pigs for sale. Please contact us for more details.
